New Mercury Forms updates - v31

A read-up on changes to Forms for Clients, Vacancies and Placements.

What 

In our newest Mercury Core release (v31) we have made additional updates to the Forms used across the Mercury CRM for Clients, Vacancies and Placements. See below for a breakdown of the changes to each new Form.

 

Where 

Mercury Contact form

  • General tab new subsections: CANDIDATE TAGS and CLIENT CONTACT TAGS. 'Candidate tags' can also be viewed under the Experience tab, and 'Client Contact Tags' from the Client Contact tab.
     
  • General tab > CONTACT DETAILS subsection: 'LinkedIn Profile' field added. Hidden fields by default: 'Candidate Website', 'Video Call ID', 'Video Call Type', and 'Social Profile'.
     
  • Experience tab > SELF SUMMARY subsection: 'Candidate Comments' field added (moved from the Candidate tab). 

     
  • Candidate tab new field: 'Current Placement'. Contains a link to the Placement record if filled in and a lookup option to add it directly from the Candidate record. 
     
  • Client Contact tab new subsection for Activities with three options to toggle between: 'Phone Calls', 'Emails', and 'Appointments'. Each activity has two views, e.g. 'Client Contact Phone Calls' and 'All Phone Calls'. 

 

Mercury Vacancy form

  • Basic Info tab new subsection: APPROVALS will show if approvals are enabled, moved to the top right of the page layout. 
     
  • Basic Info tab > OWNER INFORMATION subsection: Hidden fields by default: 'Delivery Owner', 'Key Account User', 'Lead From', 'Converted From', and 'Project'. 
     
  • Basic Info tab new subsection: CONNECTIONS with three columns: 'Connected To', 'Role (To)', and 'Description'. 
     
  • Basic Info tab new subsection: REQUIREMENTS (in Contract/Temporary vacancy records only). Fields shown by default: 'Probability (%)', 'Hours Per Week', 'Days Per Week', and 'Number of Weeks'. Hidden fields by default: 'Start Date', 'Review Date', 'Positions', and 'Positions Remaining'.
     
  • Job Details tab new subsection: BENEFITS (in Permanent vacancy records only) with six fields: 'Holiday Days', 'Company Car' (toggle), 'Pension Scheme' (toggle), 'Medical Insurance' (toggle), 'Bonus/Shares', and 'Benefits Notes'. 
     
  • New Advert Details tab including fields covering vacancy descriptions for internal use, email, job summary/job board, portal and website visibility toggles, and URL link(s).
     
  • Candidates tab new fields: 'Salary' and 'Salary To' (for permanent vacancies) or 'Pay' and 'Charge' (for temporary/contract vacancies). 

 

Mercury Placement Form

  • New Admin & Activities tab, identical to the older version of the placement records (UCI). Includes subsections for PAPERWORK AND DOCUMENTS, TIMELINE, OWNERSHIP, and AUDIT DATA (all placement types). 
     
  • Finance tab: toggle for Placement Rates, Fees, and Purchase Orders is now at the top of the page.
     
  • Finance tab > new subsection FINANCE with the following fields:
     
    • 'Invoice contact'
    • 'Paperwork contact'
    • 'Accounting Legal Entity'
    • 'Payable Legal Entity'
    • 'SOC'
    • 'Finance Account Ref.'
    • 'Cost Centre'
    • 'Withold Tax'
    • 'Reporting Business Unit'
    • 'Payroll No.'
    • 'Primary Authoriser (Contract/Temporary placement records only)'
    • 'Second Authoriser (Contract/Temporary placement records only)'
       
  • Finance tab > new subsection DETAILED TERMS. For Temporary and Contract Placements there are more additional fields (e.g. markup, deductions, margin values, on-costs, etc.). 
     
  • Finance tab > new subsection GROSS PROFIT. Fields are 'Gross Profit' and 'True Gross Profit' (all placement types), and 'True Weekly Gross Profit' (contract vacancies only)
