The Engagement record contains the original placement and all extensions made against the original placement.

It will list them all in chronological order, from the most recent placement first.

Accessing the Engagement Record on a Placement

It is listed on the Placement Details tab (front page) of the placement:

Click on to the job title hyperlink to enter the record.

As you can see by the Placement ID number, the first 6 digits always remain the same. The middle two digits indicate which placement it is, in order of sequence. In the above screenshot, we can see that there have been three extensions.

It is useful for temp/contract Consultants to be able to view how many extensions have been run and have a list of all Start, End and Actual dates to hand.

The left section will display details such as the 'Original Dates' and the latest 'Actual Dates', as well as the key data that links to the Placements.

Pay Details

The second tab will show Original and Current rate details:

Estimates

This tab will show the total Estimates for the entire booking:

You should always be working on the latest and current placement.

If you click into a previous placement, there will be a warning sign at the top of the page to advise you there has been a more recent extension:

Accessing all Engagement Records from a View

On the bottom left-hand side of your screen, you will see this icon:

This can be changed from Recruit, the general standard view, to Admin (if you cannot see this, this will be to do with your system permissions):

Within this menu, on the left-hand side, Engagements has its own tab:

From here you can use the search tool or filters to report or search for the Engagement required.
