Offboarding is a way of being able to list checks that need to be completed at the end of a placement.

When creating compliance within Mercury, it can be specified that it will be an offboarding check.

The Offboarding tab will only appear when the status of a Placement changes to Ending Soon. This status is pre-set to be displayed 4 weeks before the end date of the Placement.

Below will list any items:

Double click into the row to complete (avoid clicking onto the first hyperlink under Criterion).

There are four different compliance types: Evidence, Checkbox, Text and List.

Evidence is unlikely to be used at this point. It's more likely you are doing an internal check that simply needs to be marked as completed. Checkbox is more likely to be used. This just needs someone to  change 'Done?' from 'No' to 'Yes' (see above screen shot). Text is similar, it just need some text written in order to complete it. List works differently. When creating the compliance, a list of different options can be created. When the user is completing a list compliance, they would need to select the appropriate option to be able to complete the offboarding item.

The offboarding item will have a status of 'Outstanding'. Once the item has been completed, the status will change to 'Checked'. It automatically completes your name in the 'Checked By' field, as well as the 'Checked On' and the time completed.

Once all items are completed and Valid, the %Complete will reach 100%.

The placement can then continue to a status of Complete.

NOTE: Evidence based compliance has three statuses. 'Outstanding' Submitted' and 'Checked'. The idea being a consultant may upload the compliance or a candidate may send it via the portal and someone from the compliance team would check it.

To manage offboarding items there is a standard view within the Placement menu:
