Views:
Located on a Mercury Contact record (used for both Candidate contacts and Client Contacts), you will find the Timeline in the centre.
There are 2 ways to add an update:
 
 
Option 1: Go to Quick Create Menu > + button > click Activities to expand the menu > Update
 
 
 
 
 
Option 2: Go to Timeline > + button > Update
 
 
From either location, the Quick Create: Task side panel will open. 
Complete the relevant information and click Save and Close.
 
NOTE: Subject and Regarding are required fields before saving and closing the task. For data integrity, it is advised to enter the Purpose of the update. The Purpose list links to your existing Activity Purposes. New Purposes can be created to support Updates where required.
 
 
 
 
Tasks can then be seen directly within the Timeline of the Contact set in the Regarding field above.
