The Shortlist record contains all of the audit history that is actioned between the Vacancy and a particular candidate.

It is where a lot of useful reports can be built to log activity, such as how many CVs were submitted during the last X period.
 
All of this data is stored within this record.

When viewing the Candidates tab in the Vacancy, it is displaying all of the individual shortlist records.
 
If you'd like to create a new Shortlist outside of a Vacancy. Click Shortlists from the menu on the left and click +New
 
 
 
 
You'll then need to complete all of the required fields by your organisation.
 
It is recommended you complete as many fields as possible.
 
Click Save or Save and Close when you are finished.
 
 
  
 
You'll then be reverted back to the Shortlist view where you'll see your Candidate at the top of the list. 
 
 
 
 
If you click the Vacancy name you'll be taken right into that Vacancy.
 
Click the Candidates tab and you will see the Candidate name you just added.
 
You can now move forward with progressing the Candidate accordingly.
