Views:

Views present data in a tabular format in Mercury.

There are dozens of existing system views available to use, and you can use Advanced Find to create your own views in Mercury.

These views can be used from within Advanced Find, from the main sitemap items (Contact, Client, Vacancy, etc.) or added to Dashboards.

You can add specific filters to your list such as:

  • Candidates with specific Skills or Tags
  • Client Contacts not spoken to for X amount of time
  • Clients from specific industries

To create a view, locate the Advanced Find tool in the navigation bar in Mercury.

Click in the main Search bar at the top of the screen, then click the Advanced Filters option.

The Advanced Find window will open.

Decide which data table you want to create your list around eg. look for Contacts

In this instance, by first selecting Is a Candidate Contact? Equals Yes will filter out Client Contacts and only return Candidate Contacts

Next add Skill Levels (Skill Levels (Candidate)) we are using the Related feature to look within Skills and pull any data related to Candidates.

By using the Related option, we then need to refine the search further. From the drop-down list on the next line, select Skill.

You can then define the Skill itself where it says Value

Select all the required skills.

You can check the results by clicking Apply at the bottom of the filter selection panel.

You can choose the information you want your View to display, and the order, by selecting Edit Columns > Add columns

To change the order display of the fields, just drag them to the desired position then click Apply.

To sort the order of the list, simply click on the column title you want to sort the view on, and how you want to sort it :

You can also use the Filter option to refine the view even further

And like you can in Excel, you can drag the column borders to set the width of each column :

Once you are happy with your edits, click Save as new view :

To find your newly created List View you created, locate the focus from the site map that you based the creation on - ie. Contacts

Select the drop-down menu and select the name that you gave your new view.
