What

Sharing a Dashboard is the easiest way to allow other users in your environment to be able to view the data you have. You can also allocate permissions to those users so they can either read, write, delete, append, assign or even re-share themselves. Dashboards are interactive tools which help users understand their workload through Views or Charts. Please also take a look at KA-01217 which will show you How to create a Dashboard.

Home > Sitemap > My Work > Dashboards > Select a Dashboard from the dropdown > Share Dashboard

How

1. Navigate to the Dashboards view from the main sitemap in the far left panel. Decide which Dashboard you would like to share. Select it, then click Share Dashboard:



2. When Share Dashboard on the ribbon menu is clicked, a pop-up window will appear. Here you can add Users or even Teams to view the Dashboard, you can remove Users/Teams, or even reset the Dashboard to its initial user:


 


3. When clicking on Add User/Team, another pop-up window will appear where you can add a Team or a User:





4. You can search for a User, or change the field to Team and then select the required Team. Once you have decided which User to select, then they must appear in the Selected Records box. Click Add.

The User/Team should then appear in the previous pop-up window where you can select the permission the User can have. Click Share and then that User should be able to see the Dashboard:
