What
New End fields have been added into the system that will allow users to identify where successful/potential Candidates will be based if their Vacancy/Placement is on behalf of a different company.
Where
The sections where these fields have been added are:
Vacancy
Home > Vacancies > Vacancy record > General tab > Details section > End Client
Placement
Home > Placements > Placement record > Placement Details tab > End Client
Another addition that is linked to the above is within the Addresses tab, where users will be able to select in the Client Addresses area which Client the Candidate will be located at, correspondence directed to and where Invoices should be sent. To see this field, the menu path is as follows:
Home > Placements > Placement record > Addresses > Client Site Address/Client Correspondence Address/Client Invoice Address
How
Vacancy
1. Select a Vacancy and once the record has loaded scroll down within the Details section:
2. The End Contact field will be locked until a value is shown in the End Client field. Once a Candidate has accepted their offer, Placement will generate:
3. Within the Placement, the End Client and End Contacts will be pre-filled with values from the Vacancy:
How
Placement
1. In the image below, the values within the Vacancy have pre-populated the End Client and End Contact fields:
2. If these fields are empty, users can choose a valid selection within the Placement by selecting the magnifying glass or using the Advanced Lookup feature:
3. It is important to note that the End Client is determined by the Client Hierarchy/Connected To Lookup View. Therefore, it will only show Subsidiaries of the Client selected on the Placement:
4. You then need to click the Addresses tab:
5. Then you will have the choice within each Client field to select whether successful Candidates should be based at the Main Client (i.e. the value that is currently present in the Client Name field in Placement Details) or if they should be based at the End Client:
6. Depending on the value that is chosen in the Client field, the Address look-up field will return a selection of addresses that the Client has listed against them.
