This article explains what a Screenout File is and what it is used for when using the Daxtra Capture Instance.

How

A screenout file excludes any local information contained in a CV or email, such as the Consultant's name, address, phone number and email signature. For example, if Consultant A forwards a CV to the CV email address via email, the email is picked up by Daxtra. Daxtra will recognise the Consultant's details in the screenout file and will ensure their details are excluded when parsing. This reduces any incorrect information from being parsed for the Candidate's record, and maintains accurate Candidate data.

NOTE:  Any new starters or leavers within you organisation must be amended in the screenout file.

1. As a Sys Admin, log into Daxtra Capture and head into the Admin tab. Click on the Skills and screenout files option:

2. This will take you to the following screen:

3. Click the Download option in the Screenout File section. This will open up a Notepad document as in the example below:

A screenout file will always have 4 sections of data for screening:

[screen-person] The name of the Consultant or employee.

[recruiter-eaddr-base] Employee email addresses.

[recruiter-addr-list] Addresses of companies or employees.

[recruiter-phone] Employee phone numbers.

New employees should be added to this list to ensure accurate information when parsing.

4. When you've completed the editing of the screenout file, simply go back to Daxtra and click Upload and the changes should be immediate.

Please contact Mercury Support if your screenout file needs amending, or if you wish to create a brand new file.
