How

There are two job advertising integrations that Mercury uses which enable Recruiters to post job adverts on external sites > Broadbean and LogicMelon - both systems work and behave in the same way.

Sometimes an error message can appear when trying to advertise:

An error has occurred. The error message is Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The error message usually relates to an issue with the Username or Password. To troubleshoot this. System administrators should navigate to:

Advanced Settings > Security > Users > Click on the appropriate user

Double check the Advert Posting Integration details are correct - see below:

You can confirm these details by asking the user to log into their Broadbean/LogicMelon account. If they are successful then the advert posting should work. If the user is unable to log into their account then they should contact Broadbean or LogicMelon accordingly to ensure that their credentials are correct, which then must also be reciprocated in Mercury for it to work.

Once Mercury has been updated, the user should then be able to post their advert.
