This article describes how System Administrators can push the Dynamics 365 app to selected users or all users in Outlook. 

NOTE: The instructions in this article can only be carried out by your organisation's System Administrator.

 

Where

Home > Settings > Advanced Settings > Settings > System > Dynamics 365 for Outlook > Users > Add App to user
 

How

1. If the Dynamics 365 app is not visible for users in their Outlook (see below), System Admins can push the app to users from within Mercury: 

 

2. To push the app to users, navigate to Advanced Settings:



3. Click on the arrow next to Settings and then into the Dynamics 365 app for Outlook tile (see image below). If Dynamics 365 app for Outlook is not visible in the Settings menu, you can install the app from here:

4. The screen below will then appear:


5. Follow the numbered steps in the image above:
 

(1) Admins can select to Add App for all users here.

(2) You can search for a user here.

(3) Ensure the checkbox is ticked before adding the app to a user.

(4) Be sure to click the Save button after adding the app.

(5) You can check this box to ensure the app is downloaded to the user automatically. 



6. When the user has been selected and the app has been sent to them, the status should change to Pending:
 

 
 

7. When the user restarts their Outlook, the status should show as Added to Outlook
