What

The Flag function can highlight potential Candidates who may be suitable for a role, before adding to a Hot List or a Shortlist.  

 

Where

Home > Vacancies > select a Vacancy record > Search > Search Candidates

 

How

1. Go to Vacancies within Mercury.

2. Select a Vacancy by selecting the blue check-box.

3. Select Search from the top navigation ribbon.

4. Select Search Candidates.

 

 

5. Search will open in the context of the selected Vacancy.

6. The Job Title filter will pre-populate within quotation marks. This will search for Candidates who currently, or previously held that position. 

7. Other filters, such as Location (Distance) may pre-populate. This will be indicated by the orange circle beside the tab name.

 

 

NOTE: Flags can only be added to a Candidate within Tile View. For more information see Tile View, List View, and Candidate Detail Card.

8. Click + Add Flag. 

9. To create a new flag, type in a name up to 12 characters. Flag names can also include emojis. 

10. Or select from a flag already available. Only one flag can be added per Candidate per Vacancy. 

 

11. Candidates in the context of this Vacancy can then be filtered by Flags

 

 

Additional information 

  • Flags added to a Candidate are unique to the Vacancy you are searching against. These flags will not be visible against the Candidate if they appear in a general search or different Vacancy search.
     

  • Flags will autosave in relation to a Vacancy; there is no need to save the query.
