Feature Overview
On top of the automated/workflow driven emails in Mercury our Dynamic email template feature allows System admins to create and manage your own set of regularly used email templates that can be made available to all users to select when emailing from the Mercury editor to communicate between your business, your Clients and your Candidates.
Any number of templates can be created by those with access. As part of the implementation, Mercury can offer three pre-set commonly used email templates to be used in the recruiting process.
Purpose
Email templates can be found in the email editor via the insert feature and provide a number of benefits including; Reducing time spent typing out regularly sent emails over and over, reducing spelling and punctuation errors, providing guidance for new team members and allowing you to ensure all emails have initially been signed off by your own legal and marketing teams for consistent brand message and tone.
Defaults and Considerations
The default email templates that can be provided by Mercury as part of implementation are as follows.
- CV Submittal email
- Right to Represent email
- Candidate new vacancy email
The number of additional email templates that Mercury will create for you will be shown in your SOW if purchased. Please be aware, It may not be possible to pull through some merge fields, please discuss with your Product Consultant.
To Enable or Amend this Feature
Training will be provided to System administrators to update existing text or create new versions. If you would like to use the existing default templates, please review the current standard wording provided by your Product Consultant (PC) is suitable for your organisation.
If included in your SOW please provide additional templates as required by your organisation. These must clearly indicate any merge fields you expect to pull through.
