What

In Mercury Search there are actions which can be carried out directly from the results page that feed back to the CRM. Each action (visible in both List view and Tile view) has its own unique icon and title; see Tile View, List View, and Candidate Detail Card for more information. 

 

Where

Mercury Search > Search results > click the Options button

 

How

We have provided a detailed breakdown of the options which can be viewed below:
 

Shortlist


 

  • Found via Options > Add to Shortlist .
  • Once a user clicks on the Add to Shortlist button, the Candidate is added to a list in the right hand panel.
  • Once a user clicks on the Add to Shortlist button within a chosen candidates record, the button within the Options list will update to Remove from Shortlist.
  • The user can then select or change the vacancy to shortlist to.
  • Once the Candidate has been added to a Shortlist and Saved, within the Candidate Tile they will have a tag of Shortlisted shown in within the top right-hand corner of the Tile.
  • This action was performed within a Candidate Search.

     

Hotlist


 

  • Found via Options > Add to Hotlist .
  • Once a user clicks on the Add to Hotlist button, the Candidate is added to a list in the right hand panel.
  • Once a user clicks on the Add to Hotlist button within a chosen candidates record, the button within the Options list will update to Remove from Hotlist.
  • The user can then select a Hotlist to save the Candidate to. 
  • Once the Candidate has been added to a Hotlist and Saved, within the Candidate Tile they will have a tag of Hotlisted shown in within the top right-hand corner of the Tile.
  • These options are shown when performing a Candidate and a Client Contact Search. In this illustration a Search was performed via a Candidate Search.

 

Phone Call


 

  • Found via Options > Add Phone Call.
     


 

  • Once this option is selected a new window will open where users will be able to input details of a Call.
  • The first two fields within the Call menu will be pre-populated with details of the Candidate.
     


 

  • Once the call has been added users will be able to access the call record via the Candidate Card. Users can click on the View Detail button where upon the Card opening the details of the call will be shown in the Timeline.
  • These options are shown when performing a Candidate and a Client Contact Search. In this illustration a Search was performed via a Candidate Search.

 

Add to Email List


 

  • Found via Options > Add to Email List . If a Candidate does not have an Email Address within their record the option will instead show No Email Address.
     


 

  • Once a user clicks on the Add to Email List button within a chosen candidates record, they will have the option to create an E-mail via the Click Here to Create Email button found in the side panel. Once the button has been clicked a new window will open up directing users to the Email Editor.
     


 

  • Once an e-mail has been sent it will be shown with the Candidates Timeline (Accessed via a user clicking on the View Detail) button within the Candidate Tile.
  • If the E-mail is not shown within a few seconds users should click on the Refresh button to force an update.
  • These options are shown when performing a Candidate and a Client Contact Search. In this illustration a Search was performed via a Candidate Search.

 

Hide from Result


 

  • Found via Options > Hide from result.
     


 

  • Within the list icon (found in the bottom right-hand corner of the page) users will be able to see a list of Hidden Candidates. To unhide a Candidate users should click the Remove button.
     


 

  • Once a user clicks on the Remove button their Candidate Tile will then be shown within the results area.
  • These options are only shown when performing a Candidate Search. 

 

View Detail

  • Found within the Candidate Tile or 'Actions' column > Click on View Detail.
  • Within this window users will be able to access a variety of functions such as adding activities to a Candidate Timeline.
