What

Conduct a search for Candidates from the CRM by initiating a search matched to a selected Vacancy. See any Candidates already relating to the Vacancy, i.e. in a Shortlist, Applicants, Hot List, or Email List, and add new Candidates too!

Where

Vacancies > select Vacancy > Search > Mercury Match To Vacancy

How

Begin in the CRM and then onto Search. Any changes made in Search save back to the CRM.

CRM

  1. Go to Vacancies on the CRM.
  2. Select the Vacancy you would like to search by and select the tick box. Only one Vacancy can be selected.
  3. Select Search from the ribbon menu bar.
  4. Click Mercury Search Match To Vacancy to open the Search modal window.

Mercury Search

  1. The context of the search will be done from the Vacancy, e.g. Product Manager. To leave the context of the Vacancy, click the drop-down and select Leave Vacancy Context.
  2. In the context of a Vacancy, see any Candidates in: Shortlist, Hotlist, or Email.
  3. New Candidates can be found by using the filter options. Search can be done through Structured (Search and Filter), or Boolean.
  4. Flags can also be added to Candidates in the context of a Vacancy, see Use and Function of Flags for more information.

NOTE: These search results are related to the Job Title, and are not directly connected to a specific Vacancy. E.g. this search is bringing back results for Candidates relating to the general job role of 'Project Manager'. Candidates, Applicants, etc. relating to the specific Vacancy selected in the CRM (e.g. Vacancy Ref. CR/11125) are in the right-hand side menu, where you can tab between Shortlist, Hotlist, Applicants, and Email tabs if these have been populated.

To get more information on the shortlisted Candidates and Applicants, go to Filter, where the associated vacancy (linked by the Vacancy Ref) is a suggested filter. Click Add to add this Vacancy to the search. You can also add in additional vacancies by using the search bar.
